What a daily check-in call is
Once a day, at a time each resident chooses, an RN-supervised Care Caller phones them for a short, friendly conversation of about five minutes: how they slept, how they're feeling, what they have planned. After the call, the caller writes a short note that goes to the family contacts listed for that resident.
It is a telephone reassurance service, not care. It doesn't replace your staff's rounds, care plans or medication passes, and it isn't an emergency response system.
Why assisted living communities add it
Families hear from you every day. Adult children who live far away often call the front desk to ask how Mom is doing. A daily note answers that question before they ask, and gives your community something concrete to show on a tour.
Residents get a conversation that isn't about tasks. Many staff interactions are about meals, medications and schedules. A daily call is simply someone asking how their day is going.
It doesn't add staff hours. We place the calls, write the notes and send the family updates. Your team hears from us only when a resident can't be reached or raises a concern.
What happens when a resident doesn't answer
We try three times. If we still can't reach a resident, we don't phone your front desk for each one. Everyone we couldn't reach is listed in one alert to your chosen contacts at 11 AM, 3 PM or 7 PM, and their families are told in that day's note. We phone your urgent line only if a resident goes unreached two days in a row or mentions an urgent concern.
Getting started
Enter your licensed beds and the residents you want to enroll, check out, and upload the resident list you already have. Residents who decide for themselves agree on the first call; a POA or responsible party gets a one-tap consent link. Daily calls start after a short review call with your main contact.
Pricing is by residents enrolled, not beds: $168 a month covers the first 4 residents, then $42 or less per resident. The first week is free. Estimate your community's cost.
Common questions
Do all residents have to be enrolled?
No. Enroll the residents who want the calls or whose families ask for them. You pay only for residents enrolled.
Who makes the calls?
Trained Care Callers on our team, supervised by a registered nurse.
Does it replace our own resident checks?
No. It's an added daily conversation and family update. Your staff's own checks, care plans and emergency procedures stay the same.
Please note: Premium Care Wellness Checks is a non-medical telephone reassurance service. It is not medical care and not a substitute for 911, your staff's care and supervision, or a medical alert device. In an emergency, call 911.
