Built for small homes
Board and care homes, also called residential care homes for the elderly, are often run by an owner and a few caregivers. Families still want to know how their parent is doing, and the phone calls asking land on the same people giving care. A daily wellness call takes that off your plate.
What each resident gets
A Care Caller phones each enrolled resident once a day at the time or two-hour window they choose, for a short conversation about how they slept, how they feel and their plans. After every call, a note goes to up to three family members by email, text or both.
What your home gets
- No calls to place and no updates to write
- One batched alert if a resident can't be reached, not a phone call for each
- A phone call only if a resident is unreached two days in a row or mentions something urgent
- A simple way to show families, and prospective families, that their parent is checked on every day
Pricing for a six-bed home
Every community pays the same per-resident rates, whatever its size. $168 a month covers your first 4 residents and each added resident is $42, so six residents come to $252 a month. You never pay for empty beds, and the first week is free. See the full pricing.
What it isn't
The calls are not medical care, a nursing assessment or an emergency response service, and they don't replace your own care and supervision. In an emergency, call 911.
Common questions
Is there a minimum number of residents?
The monthly minimum is $168, which covers up to 4 residents. Homes with fewer residents pay the same minimum.
Do we need to collect signatures from residents?
No. Residents who decide for themselves agree on our first call, and a POA or responsible party gets a one-tap consent link by text and email.
Can families pay instead of the home?
Yes. A family can sign up on our family plans. Community pricing applies when the home is the one billed.
Please note: Premium Care Wellness Checks is a non-medical telephone reassurance service. It is not medical care and not a substitute for 911, your staff's care and supervision, or a medical alert device. In an emergency, call 911.
